MA Opportunities for Teaching Staff

The NET Staff College is working in partnership with The University of Sunderland to offer teaching colleagues the opportunity to access modules that meet their training needs and facilitate growth allowing employees the opportunity to learn new skills to support the development of their career.

The current modules that are available are aligned to gaining MA level credits and the option of pursuing a masters level qualification is open to individuals who wish to follow this route.

The delivery format of these courses can be considered to make sure they meet the requirements of individuals. The usual timing of on-campus sessions is from 5:30pm to 8:30pm, one evening a week, across a 10-week period. However, if distance learning is preferred, asynchronous learning alongside some live sessions and micro-lectures, can also be considered if there are enough delegates to fulfil the cohort.

At present the modules would be self-funded by the individual. However; as a partner of The University of Sunderland there is a discounted rate available.

Please refer to the overview of course information and modules available. If you are interested in any of the options that are available please contact Vicki Jowett FHEA, Associate Head of School for Professional Development, [email protected] who will be able to offer advice and guidance with the next steps.
