NET Staff College have partnered with The Aim Group to offer a variety of qualifications for parents and carers to complete, free of charge. The Aim Group has a range of fully funded, CACHE-accredited qualifications available to help better understand some key issues around young people’s mental health and wellbeing, along with a range of other qualifications that may help with developing careers. This is a fantastic opportunity for parents/carers who would like to expand on their knowledge and improve their understanding of some of the key issues affecting the mental health and wellbeing in young people.
Qualifications are available in the following subjects:
- Understanding Autism
- Understanding Children and Young People’s Mental Health
- Distressed Behaviour in Children
- Bullying in Children and Young People
- Understanding Specific Learning Difficulties
Course Information/Structure:
- Qualifications are studied via an online E learning platform
- Learners can take up to 16 weeks to complete the course
- Learners are assigned their own login details, so they can log in and out when they please
- Learners are assigned their own tutor who will support them throughout and mark their work
- There are no exams or essays to do – the course is all question and answer based
- Learners will gain a Level 2 certificate upon completion (equivalent to GCSE Grade C)
Minimum Requirements:
- Learners must be aged 19 or over
- Learners must not currently be on a Government funded course (including apprenticeships)
- Learners must have been in the UK/EU for the past 3 years
