Northern Education Trust inspired me to progress into a career I only dreamed of. With thanks to the NET Staff College, I was equipped with everything I needed to know about the role of Business Manager through their Business Services Course. The support network is extensive and the opportunities are endless. Thank you so much for the amazing opportunity NET!

I now work as a Finance Assistant for the central team and have been able to gain lots of skills and knowledge along the way that has enabled me to continue to better myself.

I started with one of the trust’s academies as an Apprentice ICT Technician and with some hard work and amazing opportunities I have worked my way up to Acting Director of ICT for 22 academies across the north of England. My job gives me fantastic opportunities to travel and meet new people, this means that every day brings a new exciting challenge and no day is the same. I’m excited to be a part of a great ICT Team and also a part of Northern Education Trust.

I began my career in the community zone in 2014, and it has helped me gain a variety of skills and qualities that have shaped me into the person I am today. I thrive on new opportunities that have been presented to me throughout my career with NET. I worked my way up from a community zone assistant to learning manager and now a qualified PE teacher with full-time teaching position in NET.
