NET Staff College holds first NPQ conference
Colleagues from five primary and six secondary NET academies came together for an NPQ conference at the NETSC on 30 March 2022.
Programme members currently undertaking an NPQ in Leading Teaching (NPQLT) and NPQ in Leading Teacher Development (NPQLTD) met to collaborate with peers on a number of activities and to give feedback, present ideas and discussions to the entire group
The aim of the conference was to provide an opportunity to discuss, refine and practice the learning programme members have gained from the NPQ so far, as well as access to the expertise and real world experience of current serving senior leaders. Previous seminars had been hold online so this was the first opportunity to meet colleagues and have live, face to face discussions with peers. A key part of the conference was to experience networking opportunities with other delegates.
Delegates found the conference informative and the speakers engaging and knowledgeable.
A second conference will be held for the same group on 13 September 2022.
