Contrasting School Placements
Despite many obstacles faced by our trainees this year, we are determined to offer the most rewarding experience within and outside of our academies. Under normal circumstances, all ITT trainees would have completed their Contrasting School Placement during the STEP 3 half-term. To ensure that all trainees gain great insight into how our academies work together within the Northern Education Trust, the Contrasting School Placement has been rearranged and is taking place 07.06.21 – 18.06.21.
We are incredibly delighted to offer our trainees such an amazing opportunity to observe, and teach, within a range of academies and engage with teaching and learning across the Trust. As the placement coincides with the Trust-wide roll-up of timetables, the trainees will also experience a valuable opportunity to build relationships with new classes and employ strategies to ensure that our students have the best start to their new academic year groups. Not only this, but some of our trainees will have the opportunity to experience teaching in an alternative setting and we are thrilled to welcome trainees from outside of the Trust into our academies.
