Initial Teacher Training Testimonials
Please read a couple of testimonials from current NET employees who have progressed via the Initial Teacher Training provided by Northern Education Trust.
“This method of training allows student teachers to become a part of the makeup of a department and the school as a whole. In my training year, I became fully immersed into the ethos and values, attending L and P sessions and additional CPD, taking responsibility for whole classes and VMG groups. My timetable gradually built up across the academic year, so I had a realistic understanding of the expectations placed upon me as I moved forward in my NQT year and career”.

“Educate provided me with an opportunity to learn ‘on the job’ in a school environment, learning the systems and protocols very quickly. It allowed me to observe a variety of teaching across the academy and gave me the time I needed to focus on the teaching standards and demonstrated the importance of applying them in my own practice.
