First cohort of colleagues to complete the National Professional qualification in Middle Leadership (NPQML)
Northern Education Trust is proud to welcome our first cohort of colleagues to complete the National Professional qualification in Middle Leadership (NPQML) that will be delivered via the NET Staff College. We were blown away by the levels of interest shown across the trust in this exceptional training opportunity. 25 staff members from across both primary and secondary academies in NET have been successfully awarded one of the coveted places on this development course.
The cohort of successful staff will attend six in depth training sessions which cover all aspects of middle leadership including resource management, increasing capacity in a team, improving outcomes and developing others. Each candidate will also lead an impact project in their own academy with the express goal of improving student performance, progress and attainment.
Via our partnership with Ambition Institute we are incredibly honoured to be able to deliver these national qualifications to colleagues working within our trust. As we continue to grow and develop the staff college we are keen to develop our links with Ambition Institute even further and we already have plans in place to deliver more NPQs in the coming months and terms.
